When we set our new pool up the kids just kept begging us to let them swim and we kept telling them that the water is freezing but they wouldn't stop. So after hours of begging we told them to go get their suits on. You might think this is cruel but we had to do it so they would stop begging!

That is flat out child abuse. The pool is pretty though.
Now that's a sign of good parenting. Teaching your children that every action has a consequence.
